Mosaic was founded by Meyer and Louise Conradie, who felt an extraordinary calling to care for orphan and vulnerable children—along with the help of their American friend, Karen Baker, and other Christian church members.

In November 2008, Mosaic founders Meyer and Louise Conradie hosted the first Mosaic discussion with friends and family about how to best serve the staggering and growing number of orphans in South Africa. Today, we look back and celebrate where we come from and where we are going.
